Sunday 23rd Noveber 2008 - ST. RAPHAEL CLUB An all-age family service, starting at 11am and finishing by 12:30pm. Teaching and preaching mixed with worship and family centred activities anf fun. All are welcome.

19th November 2008: Ladies Group (Mid-Morning) The first get together of the ladies group will be happening from 10:30am - 12:30pm this Wednesday at Hazel's house. If you are interested in coming, please speak to Hazel or contact the church offices for more information.
22nd November 2008: Progressive Dinner A chance to do a bit of cooking and entertaining, and then move on to someone else's house for the next course! The night promises to be a lot of fun as well as a chance to get to know people from the congregation a bit better. There is no cost, but if you want to host a course of the meal, you will need to pay for it, but then you will also be receiving meals from others during the evening. If you want to come, please fill in a form that is available at church or from the church offices. Alternatively speak to Matt, Rachael, Verity or Franek.
28th & 29th November 2008: Men's Conference with Jeff Lucas New Life Church, Lincoln. Writer and preacher, Jeff Lucas, will be the main speaker at this years Men's Conference in Lincoln. If you would like more details or want to buy a ticket, please speak to Matt. Flyers and discount vouchers are now available at church!
6th Decmber 2008: Bird Walk with Dave Nurney Tichwell RSPB reserve. Meet at Tichwell at 12:30pm. The walk will last approx 2 hours, ending with coffee etc. in the reserve cafe. Binoculars can be hired at the reserve. Non-RSPB members have to pay to park (£4 per car). Please sign up on the list at the back of church, or speak to Dave.
15th December 2008: Christmas Craft Stall & Carols Come and support the Christmas Craft Stall that will be part of the Norfolk Street Christmas Market on Monday 15th December. Proceeds from the Oasis Books Shop cratf stall will be going to the Watoto Children's home in Uganda. If you want to help run the stall, please speak to Robyn. There will also be a group of Carol Singers made up of members of the congregation - do come and join us (remember to dress warmly!).
3rd January 2009: George Verwer speaking George Verwer, the founder of Operation Mobilistaion will be speaking at Trinity Methodist Church at 7:30pm. this event has been organised by Wisbech Baptist Church.
10th January 2009: Song writing workshop wiht Matt McChlery If you are a musician, poet or creative thinker, come along to the song writing workshop. It is a place where you can get to hearn a bit about the song writing process and the chance to 'have a go'. You never know, it may be your song we are singing at church next! Speak to Matt for more information or check the church newsletter.
7th March 2009: An Evening With Henry Olonga £7.50 (£5 Concessions), 7:30pm, The Angles Theatre, Wisbech. Download the poster here The event will allow for members of the audience to ask Henry Olonga questions as well as to hear stories about Henry's life and career. There will also be a chance to hear Henry sing many of his amazing songs. CDs will be on sale at this event. Buy your ticket today!
