Mission Aviation Fellowship
Hazel Wood is a member of our church and is also the Fenland Area Representative for MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship). She is always looking for new opportunities where she can go to speak about MAF and the charity work they do. Introduction to MAF
Bringing vital help to people in need, MAF operates over 120 light aircraft in 35 countries of the developing world, flying to thousands more destinations that any other airline.
MAF works in close partnership with aid agencies, missions, relief and development organisations and local churches to serve people in remote and inhospitable places providing them with medical care, adequate food, clean water and Christian hope.
Every 3 minutes, an MAF aircraft takes off or lands, reaching isolated places where flying is not a luxury, but a lifeline.
