Things to do On a day out you could visit: Peckover House & Garden, which is a National Trust Property; Octavia Hill's Birthplace Museum; The Angles Theatre; Elgoods Brewery & Garden; Wisbech & Fenland Museum; The Welney Wildlife & Wetland Centre; the Fenland & West Norfolk Aviation Museum; 'Skylark' art studios; or the Butterfly & Wildlife Park, Long Sutton. There are also great walks and cycle routes around the unique fenland landscape. Wisbech has a variety of cafes,restaurants, pubs and take-aways. One of Wisbech's main annual events is the Wisbech Rose Fair.
Wisbech also has a Yacht Harbour for small craft and can be accessed on the Nene-Ouse Navigation Link. Plans are underway to re-develop the harbour area. We also have fun fairs and circuses that visit the area every now and then.

The Market Place Being a historical Market Town, Wisbech still holds a farmer's market on alternate Fridays, and a community market every Thursday and Saturday. Its a great place to go to buy fresh, locally produced flowers, fruit, veg and meat.

Sport & Leisure If sport is your thing, Wisbech has a wide variety of clubs and facilities for you to choose from. Wisbech Town is our local football club, a great place for supporters as well as players. There is also a running club, rugby club, hockey and cricket club, swimming club, badminton club, as well as the Hudson Leisure Centre. There is also the lovely Tydd St. Giles Golf Course near by.
Apart from sports, Wisbech also hosts a number of cultural clubs such as the local Wisbech Art Club, Wisbech Folk Club, The Fenland Ramblers are great for avid walkers, the Wisbech Amature Operatic & Drama Society, the camera club, the Wisbech Round Table, The Fenland Family History Society, as well as scouts and brownies groups, and many more.
