Where We Are

We believe that a church is the people who attend, not a building. We don't own a building of our own, but we meet in a variety of venues around Wisbech. Here is a map highlighting the most commonly used venues. Detailed directions can be found below the map:

By Car
From King's Lynn: Veer off the A47 at the Walton Highway Roundabout. Go onto the B198. Now entering Wisbech go straight on until you reach a large roundabout (with BP garage and boats on the roundabout). Go straight (do not cross the bridge), joining the A47 again. You should reach some traffic lights (next to the Clarkson Memorial). Go straight over the light, then turn left by Sessions House, towards Somers Road car park. Park there, the Community Centre is right next door.
From Peterborough: Approach Wisbech on the A47 (do not take the bypass). Go past MacDonald's and Tesco. You will end up driving next to the river Nene (behind a wall). When you reach the Nestle Purina factory, turn right down Coalwharf Road. The road will go round a bend, and then you will see the Somer's Road car park and the Community Centre.
By Train
Our two closest railway stations are Peterborough station and King's Lynn station. Both stations have direct trains from London, and Peterborough is on the line from Stanstead Airport. Both destinations can be reached from London and depart from London Kings Cross station. You can also reach King's Lynn from London Liverpool Street station and London Paddington station.
Eurostar
Upon arrival at London St. Pancras International follow the signs to London King's Cross, it is just over the road (or under it if you take the pedestiran tunnel). From London King's Cross you can then get a train to Peterborough, and teh X1 bus service to Wisbech.
From Peterborough Station
Upon arrival at Peterborough station, go outside the station and immediately turn left. You will find a bus stop attached to the station. Wait there for the X1 bus service that runs every 1/2 hour during weekdays and every hour on Sundays. Ensure the final diestination displayed on the bus is 'Lowestoft' or 'Great Yarmouth' (or ask the driver if he is stopping at Wisbech). Get off the bus at the Wisbech 'Horsefair' Bus Station. Then follow the by bus / walking directions below.
From King's Lynn Station
Upon arrival at King's Lynn station, go outside the station. Near the main road you will find a bus stop. Wait there for the X1 bus service that runs every 1/2 hour during weekdays and every hour on Sundays. You may have to signal the bus to stop at this bus stop. Ensure the final diestination displayed on the bus is 'Peterborough' (or ask the driver if he is stopping at WIsbech). Get off the bus at the Wisbech 'Horsefair' Bus Station. Then follow the by bus / walking directions below.
By Bus
The X1 bus service connects Wisbech to Peterborugh, and King's Lynn and Norwich.
On Foot / From Horsefair Bus Station: From the Horsefair Bus Station, turn right and walk through the Horsefair High Street. You will arrive in the Market Place Square. In the Market Place, veer right (walk towards Woolworths) and walk out of the Market Place up that road (Johnson's Drycleaners). At the end of that road you will see the Wisbech Post Office in front of you. Walk down Post Office Lane. Continue going straight into the Somers Road car park. The Queen Mary Community Centre is located next to the Somers Road car park (directly behind Wisbech Post Office).
By Air
Norwich International Airport
Our closest airport is Norwich International. From here you can hire a car, or catch a bus to get to Wisbech, If catching a bus First Eastern Counties Buses offer 1 service to Norwich Intyernational Airport. The number 27 runs from the city centre to the airport on Sundays and Public Holidays only. The number 27 also runs Monday - Saturday but does not stop at the airport. The closest stop is located in Hellesdon which is within walking distance of the airport. The bus journey to the town centre takes roughly 1 hour. Then catch the X1 bus from Norwich City Centre Bus station, final destination written on the bus 'Peterborough'. This journey takes roughly 2 hours.
Stanstead Airport
Stanstead Airport rail station is directly below the terminal building. Tickets can be bought in advance or at the station. Regular services link the airport with eastern England (Peterborough Station). Train times are subject to change, so please confirm with the operator before you travel.

From King's Lynn: Veer off the A47 at the Walton Highway Roundabout. Go onto the B198. You will come to a small set of traffic lights. Go straight on. As the road bends round, Clarkson Avenue will be on your left (opposite the Clarkson Arms Pub). Turn onto Clarkson Avenue and find number 14. If you pass the Park on your left, you have gone too far.
From Peterborough: Approach Wisbech on the A47 (do not take the bypass). Go past MacDonald's and Tesco. You will end up driving next to the river Nene (behind a wall). Continue straight. You will reach some traffic lights (next to the Clarkson Memorial and the Town Bridge). Go straight across. You will reach a large roundabout (with BP garage and rabbits in the roundabout). Go straight onto the B198 (do not cross the bridge). You will pass the Park on your right. Clarkson Avenue is on your right. Turn down Clarkson Avenue and find number 14.
On Foot / From Horsefair Bus Station: From the Horsfair Bus Station, walk between Argos and Superdrug towards The Case Pub. At The Case, veer right then left and continue walking towards the dual carriageway. Safely cross the dual carriage way using the pedestrian light-controlled crossing. Once over the road turn left and follow the pavement round to the right. Walk past the ambulance station, keep going straight towards the park. Follow the wide pavement that takes you straight across the park (The cycle route is the one you want to follow). Go past the playground equipment and public toilets. Upon leaving the park at the other side continue straight ahead along Tavistock Road. At the junction, turn right and continue along Clarkson Avenue. When safe, cross over Clarkson Avenue. Number 14 will be on your left hand side.
