Where We Are

We believe that a church is the people who attend, not a building.  We don't own a building of our own, but we meet in a variety of venues around Wisbech.  Here are directions to the most commonly used venues:

From King's Lynn:  Veer off the A47 at the Walton Highway Roundabout.  Go onto the B198. Now entering Wisbech go straight on until you reach a large roundabout (with BP garage and boats on the roundabout).  Turn left onto the A1101 (Churchill Road dual carriageway).  Turn right at traffic lights, heading towards Church Terrace road (you should see St.Peter & St. Paul's church straight ahead once you have turned).  Veer left towards Norfolk Street..  For parking continue a few more feet and follow signs to car park on your right. Continue to bottom end of car park where you will see the pre-fab building that is the St. Raphael Club.

From Peterborough:  Approach Wisbech on the A47 (do not take the bypass).  Go past MacDonald's and Tesco.  You will end up driving next to the river Nene (behind a wall).  Continue along the river.  Go straight across the traffic lights.  Continue until you come to a large roundabout (with BP garage and boats on the roundabout).  Turn right onto the A1101 (Churchill Road dual carriageway).  Turn right at traffic lights, heading towards Church Terrace road (you should see St.Peter & St. Paul's church straight ahead once you have turned).  Veer left towards Norfolk Street..  For parking continue a few more feet and follow signs to car park on your right. Continue to bottom end of car park where you will see the pre-fab building that is the St. Raphael Club.

On Foot / From Horsefair Bus Station: From the Horsefair Bus Station, turn right and walk through the Horsefair High Street.  You will arrive in the Market Place Square.  In the Market Place, veer left (walk towards the YMCA charity shop and Natwest Bank) and walk out of the Market Place up the road (Church Terrace). You should see St.Peter and St.Paul's church towering above you on your right.if you keep to the left of Church Terrace road you will need to cross straight over a pair of zebra crossings.  Directly in front of the YMCA charity shop doors, cross over the zebra crossing.  Walk to your left, on the pavement towards the car park.  Continue to bottom end of car park where you will see the pre-fab building that is the St. Raphael Club.

From King's Lynn:  Veer off the A47 at the Walton Highway Roundabout.  Go onto the B198. From King's Lynn:  Veer off the A47 at the Walton Highway Roundabout.  Go onto the B198. Now entering Wisbech go straight on until you reach a large roundabout (with BP garage and boats on the roundabout).  Go straight (do not cross the bridge), joining the A47 again.  You should reach some traffic lights (next to the Clarkson Memorial).  Go straight over the light, then turn left by Sessions House, towards Somers Road car park.  Park there, the Community Centre is right next door.

From Peterborough:  Approach Wisbech on the A47 (do not take the bypass).  Go past MacDonald's and Tesco.  You will end up driving next to the river Nene (behind a wall).  When you reach the Nestle Purina factory, turn right down Coalwharf Road.  The road will go round a bend, and then you will see the Somer's Road car park and the Community Centre.

On Foot / From Horsefair Bus Station: From the Horsefair Bus Station, turn right and walk through the Horsefair High Street.  You will arrive in the Market Place Square.  In the Market Place, veer right (walk towards Woolworths) and walk out of the Market Place up that road (Johnson's Drycleaners).  At the end of that road you will see the Wisbech Post Office in front of you.  Walk down Post Office Lane.  Continue going straight into the Somers Road car park. The Queen Mary Community Centre is located next to the Somers Road car park (directly behind Wisbech Post Office).

 

14 Clarkson Avenue: (Postcode: PE13 2EG)  Click here for map.

From King's Lynn:  Veer off the A47 at the Walton Highway Roundabout.  Go onto the B198.  You will come to a small set of traffic lights.  Go straight on.  As the road bends round, Clarkson Avenue will be on your left (opposite the Clarkson Arms Pub).  Turn onto Clarkson Avenue and find number 14.  If you pass the Park on your left, you have gone too far.

From Peterborough: Approach Wisbech on the A47 (do not take the bypass).  Go past MacDonald's and Tesco.  You will end up driving next to the river Nene (behind a wall).  Continue straight.  You will reach some traffic lights (next to the Clarkson Memorial and the Town Bridge).  Go straight across.  You will reach a large roundabout (with BP garage and rabbits in the roundabout).  Go straight onto the B198 (do not cross the bridge).  You will pass the Park on your right.  Clarkson Avenue is on your right.  Turn down Clarkson Avenue and find number 14.
